Reblogging on my phone is like trying to insert a butt plug blindfolded but I saw something on my dash and it just reminded me that supporting ‘gay rights’ doesn’t mean shit if you use the word faggot and can’t stand the sight of a couple of lesbians holding hands in the halls. I remember one of my friends telling me that she didn’t mind it, she just didn’t want to ‘see it’. Which of course is TOTALLY THE SAME THING as ‘supporting gay rights’.
the word faggot is atrocious and if you reaaaallly ‘supported gay rights’ you might think a little harder before using it.
I’m using scare quotes, by the way because people that ‘support gay rights’ aren’t willing to accept the argument that people don’t have to be born gay or asexual or whatever to be accepted. Maybe were not always born that way, maybe it just happens sometimes and is that any of your business I’m just wondering
