I’m really, really sorry that you haven’t yet recovered from Chris Brown’s abuse, and you don’t feel like forgiving him.

That’s well and good. I’m glad that he’s not totally getting a free pass, as men in his situation have often been given in the past, but let’s not pretend like Chris Brown was abusing you. Because this isn’t about you. It’s about Rihanna, shitheads. Why don’t we just concentrate on supporting her recovery rather than trying to dictate what that is for her?

I’m sure the person that abused her controlled enough aspects of her life. We don’t need to participate in that cycle. Seriously. The abuser often has that shit covered, so…no. You don’t get to hate on Rihanna for (evidently) allowing Chris Brown back into her life and still try to hold up a front as some sort of victim’s advocate. You just don’t. You’ve got to choose one.
